Ousia was built as a digital sanctuary to liberate you from the noise of the world. We believe true peace requires absolute privacy. Therefore, Ousia operates on a strict "Zero-Knowledge" architecture.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect, store, or transmit your journal entries.
- We do not collect your personal profile data (age, career, relationship status, etc.).
- We do not collect your mood logs or interactions with the Concept Orbs.
All AI generation is performed locally on your device using a secure, on-device Large Language Model. Your private thoughts never touch a cloud server.
2. Data We Do Collect (Strictly for Functionality)
- Authentication: If you create an account, we use Firebase Authentication to securely manage your login credentials (e.g., Apple ID or Google login).
- Purchases: We use RevenueCat to securely verify your subscription status. We do not have access to your credit card information.
3. Third-Party Integrations
Ousia generates contextual search queries for companion apps (like Spotify or YouTube). These queries are generated locally on your device and handed off to those respective apps. Once you leave Ousia, you are subject to the privacy policies of those third-party services.
